About CreditChances

CreditChances is a free site for immigrants in the US. It shows which credit cards, loans, credit builders and bank accounts accept people with an SSN, an ITIN or only a passport. The site is in English, Spanish and Russian.

We are not a bank, a lender or a loan broker, and we do not belong to any of them.

Where our facts come from

Rates, fees, documents and states are taken from each company's own website and documents. Guides are based on official sources: the IRS, the CFPB and the FTC.

We do not guess. If a company does not state clearly whether it accepts an ITIN or a passport, we do not mark it as accepted and show a question mark instead.

How rankings are set

Places are set by points. The method and the date of the last check are shown under every ranking table.

No forms on our site

We do not take applications and do not collect personal data. Every button leads to the company's own website, where you apply. The company makes the decision; with loan-matching services (marked Via application) the lenders in their network decide. How we earn money is explained on the page How we make money.
